~ Made with golden ‘Jubilee’ tomatoes & ‘Valencia’ oranges, this is an old-fashioned recipe with spices and a touch of ginger that sounded so delicious I had to make it. Made a large quantity of our Spiced Roasted Tomato Orange Preserves cooked a bit longer for a rich caramel nuance.

Many thanks for sharing your special jams with our [Tai Chi] class.

The tomato and orange blend really is amazing. You seem to have quite a talent for blending ~ whether it be [essential] oils or fruits. (or vegies).

The Tomato/Orange Conserve is such a delicious blend of things you might not normally think to put together.

You get the Citrus/Orange upfront but then the roasted tomato gradually evolves and takes the centerstage. Then you get these tasty, marinated Ginger bits to chew on that keep the flavor going… and going… and…

This is another conserve that would go so well with main courses as a kind of compote or as a base for savory sauces… or just a delicious spread for morning (or evening) toast. Outrageously good! Thanks, Cynthe… 😉

BIG smile! This one’s a surprise for sure. It always wows folks curious enough (or adventurous enough) to give it a go. Definitely one of my favs. Glad it’s on your ‘Outrageously good!’ list, too.
