Have you seen my favorite show? I’m in love with PBS’s “Gourmet’s Diary of a Foodie“. Covering the vast world of food and the foodies enjoying it, “Diary of a Foodie” is a delight for the senses. If only I could smell and taste the pooris of southern India and Australian rhubarb chutney. I Tivo the episodes, so last night I caught the latest one waxing poetic about a subject dear to my heart…food blogging. Yay! We’re on the map!
“Diary of a Foodie” followed the adventures of a few bloggers I wasn’t familiar with, but dedicated the last segment to David Lebovitz and his exploits in Paris. Great fun, the show always makes me hungry for exotic food and thrilling travel. Local cuisine is often the focus, with several episodes dedicated to sustainability and maintaining long-standing culinary traditions. I highly recommend you keep an eye out for it in your area, but Gourmet has also archived season one on their site.

Manggy – I know, right? I’ve become addicted to downloading free stuff on iTunes. I wouldn’t imagine you would get our PBS shows there, but…iTunes to the rescue! It’s such a great show, I hope you like it. Thanks for dropping by.
I’m so jealous! I wish they played it in Chicago! We have PBS but they dont play the same shows 🙁 Sadness.
Hillary – Ooo, that’s too bad WGBH is it? doesn’t play “Gourmet’s Diary of a Foodie”. Well, now you know about it and can at least watch the first season since it’s archived. It’s a real treat. Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve been stopping by Gourmet.com & like their new site. Of course I will follow you thru any re-modeling—just don’t give on posting thru your “construction period”:)
JEP – Gourmet really has so much to offer.
Thanks for your encouragement! Looks like we’ve addressed the majority of what I wanted to accomplish, this weekend. I’m pleased with it.

Hillary from Chew on That said her local station doesn’t get it in Chicago…so you may need to watch it on the teeny tiny screen. It’s totally worth it though. Great fun! Thanks for stopping by!
